Thankfully, Telltale Games is finally coming back to provide closure for fans. While a specific date hasn’t been set yet, Telltale Games aim to release The Wolf Among Us 2 in 2023. Consequently, the sequel to one of their first and most popular games, Fables: A Wolf Among Us, was shelved. However, the team has promised they will make sure all episodes are finished before they release the first, to ensure they’ll be released “in a tighter cadence” than past games and without a huge gap between episodes. How you choose to approach it could determine the future of the Fable community. It’s winter in New York City and a new case threatens to cross the line between Fabletown and the NYPD. Interestingly enough, the team has confirmed that the game will indeed release episodically. The Wolf Among Us 2 picks up six months after the events of season one. We also found out that the sequel will be in the Unreal engine, and comprise of five episodes. Namely, the The Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the mysterious new Mundy (human) character, Faye Leung. A trailer during last night’s show introduced us to three new characters. The grizzled detective’s been suspended from sheriff duties by Snow White, but he’s soon caught up in a new case. Set six months after the first season, it seems Bigby Wolf is now in some form of anger management. Telltale Games & AdHoc Studios have given us a fresh look and details on The Wolf Among Us 2, as previously promised.
